BlazRoca, einnig þekktur sem Erpur Eyvindarson, hefur verið sprækur á sviði sjónvarps, kvikmynda, útvarps og tónlistar í meira en 10 ár. Hann hefur unnið til allra þeirra verðlauna sem eru í boði fyrir slíkt og riðið mörgum feitum hestum frá Músíktilraunum, Íslensku tónlistarverðlaununum, Hlustendaverðlaunum FM957, Tónlistarverðlaunum fólksins, Eddunni, Tónlistarverðlaunum Undirtóna og Radíó X auk þess að selja gull- og platínu af tónlist sinni. Frumkvöðlastarf hans með hinum goðsagnakenndu xxxRottweiler skilaði sér í því sem lesendur Morgunblaðsins álitu “18. bestu plötu Íslandssögunnar”. Hann hefur auk þess unnið tónlist með Hilmari Erni, Steindóri Andersen, Barða Bang Gang og Madness4real (sem hafa unnið með mönnum á borð við Ice Cube, Outlandish, Rakim, Black Eyed Peas, Easy E og Westside Connection). BlazRoca hefur spilað um allt land auk Svíþjóðar, Danmerkur, Þýskalands, Noregs, Kúbu og fengið umfjöllun á Arte TV, MTV (The Lick með Trevor Nelson) og Carnegie Art Awards svo eitthvað sé nefnt. BlazRoca hefur opnað massatónleika með listamönnum eins og Snoop Dogg, Nina Sky, 50 Cent & G-Unit, Bloodhound Gang, Loop Troop, Hudson Mohawk, Scooter, Basshunter, Tinie Tempah og Dominique Young Unique. Hann hefur átt tónlist í kvikmyndum “In Between days” eftir So Yong Kim, “Fyrsti Apríll” eftir Hauk M. Hrafnsson (þemalagið “Feilnóta”), “Gargandi snilld” eftir Ara Alexander Ergis Magnússon (þemalagið "Stikluvik"), “Stóra planið” eftir Olaf de Fleur Jóhannesson (titillagið “El Plan Grande”), “Óskabörn þjóðarinnar” eftir Jóhann Sigmarsson, “Gemsar” eftir Mikael Torfason, “Skrapp út” eftir Sólveigu Anspach, "Borgríki" eftir Olaf de Fleur Johannesson, "Svartur á leik" eftir Óskar Þór Axelsson o.s.frv.

 

BlazRoca hefur átt mörg vinsælustu lög seinustu ára og toppað íslenska vinsældalista ítrekað. Lög og myndbönd rapparans á Youtube eru komin í meira en milljón áhorf fyrir töluverðu síðan. Nýleg einfaraskífa BlazRoca, KópaCabana, seldi gull og var valinn plata ársins á hinum árlegu Hlustendaverðlaunum sem jafnframt völdu BlazRoca sóló-artista ársins. BlazRoca nær til aðdáenda ólíkra tónlistarstefna vegna snjallra texta og líflegrar sviðsframkomu og heldur áfram að vera leiðandi í sinni sköpun.

BlazRoca has since the mid nineties been active in the fields of music and poetry. He has made several different music projects, the most known being xxxRottweiler, Haesta hendin and his current solo career. XxxRottweiler is all Icelandic but Haesta-hendin is a cooperation with Danish production team Madness4real (producers of Ice Cube, Outlandish, Rakim, Black Eyed Peas, Easy E, Westside Connection, Den Gale Pose and the list goes on). Along the music BlazRoca has hosted TV - and radioshows as well as holding lectures and seminars about themes connected to youth culture. He has starred a couple of films and made TV appearances with international broadcasting on many occasions. To mention a few, Arte TV, MTV (The Lick hosted by Trevor Nelson) and the Scandinavian broadcasting of Carnegie Art Awards. He has had his music in a wide range of movies as well, domestic and international. BlazRoca has recorded music with the likes of Proof from D12 and Scandinavian acts such as Lizzie, Clemens, Jyden, Dansken (Klovner i kamp) and Elastinen (Fintelligens). He has opened concerts in Iceland for world famous artists such as 50 cent & G-Unit, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Bloodhound Gang, Nina Sky, Hudson Mohawke, Dominique Young Unique, Loop Troop, Tinie Tempah, Scooter, Basshunter as well as performing all over Iceland and in Germany, Cuba, Norway, Denmark and Sweden also. He has on top of that hosted seminars on youth culture in art schools, universities and such.

 

BlazRoca is a pioneer of Hiphop in Icelandic language and has been awarded with all awards existing in Iceland for music and television (EDDA – the Icelandic Film&TV Awards, Icelandic Music Awards, the FM-957 Listeners Awards, the Peoples Music Awards, the Radio X and Undertones Awards plus gold- and platinum sales of the two XXX Rottweiler albums and his recent solo album). BlazRoca recently received the Solo Artist of the Year 2010 and the Album of the Year 2011 at the annual FM-957 Listeners Awards. He has in recent years topped the charts and his music has far more than million hits on Youtube. BlazRoca reaches people of different music genres and keeps pioneering.
